Frankfurt, April 19, 2018 | AEC, one of Europe’s leading vehicle import and distribution companies, has announced its win of the Auto Bild Allrad award, for imported pickups. The respected German title named the 2019 RAM pickup as the best imported pickup of 2018.
The awards, judged by readers of Auto Bild Allrad magazine, praised the 2019 RAM 1500’s exceptional equipment, powertrain, and off-road abilities. This prize adds to the model’s collection of critical acclaim for AEC – having also been named ‘Truck of the Year’ in the 2016 Autoflotte awards, and best pick up in Europe in the 2015 and 2014 Off Road awards.
Continuing in the same vein, the new 2019 RAM 1500, has already been named by Cars.com as ‘Best of Show’ at the 2018 North American International Auto Show. The 2019 RAM is available in Europe through AEC import soon.

RAM trucks, ultimate design and specification
RAM pickups showcase intuitive and ergonomic design, with all buttons and controls driver- and passenger-centric. Storage space in every model is class leading, with an easy-access fold-flat cargo load floor standard in every model, plus Crew Cab variants also feature convenient in-floor storage bins.
Each of the RAM 1500 models supplied by AEC has a distinct character. They are all equipped with a 5.7-litre V8 engine producing 401hp, four-wheel drive and unrivalled ride comfort thanks to an optional four-corner air suspension and air levelling system for ‘Limited’ and ‘Longhorn®’. From the sporty exterior and body coloured grille available on the ‘Big Horn’ and ‘Laramie®’ models, to the premium leather interior of the RAM 1500 ‘Limited’, the 1500 prioritizes comfort and style.
The 1500 ‘Limited’ comes with 22-inch polished or painted wheels, a full sunroof and a 12-inch touchscreen navigation system. The truck also has advanced brake assist, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. Plus, it features keyless entry, a remote start system, and trailer braking control. All models are with an AEC LPG system developed in partnership with PRINS.
